Beowulf is Robert Zemeckis' last movie. It's a CGI version of the famous hero's story.
The two following trailers of Beowulf notably differ one from each other so you'll have a better insight of the movie by watching both:
The warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel who is terrorizing towns, and later, Grendel's mother, who begins killing out of revenge. (source: IMDb)
This movie is based on an old English heroic epic dating back to the 8th century.
While most of the film sticks to the original poem, some plot elements, such as those surrounding Grendel's mother, deviate from the original poem. But we are not scholars so let's be confident in Zemeckis' choices.
This movie uses a special technique of digitally enhanced live action. Thanks to CGI and Motion Capture the result is gorgeous.
